Motion Design

During my motion design course at Projector Online Institute, I focused not only on the technical aspects of animating objects but also on crafting animations that tell a story — with character, expression, and charisma. I learned to combine the fundamental principles of motion design and classical animation with creative thinking to create animations that resonate.

Throughout the course, I worked extensively with Adobe After Effects, applying the 12 core principles of animation to various types of projects, including social media, advertisements, apps, and educational content. I practiced creating character animations, as well as experimenting with abstract graphics and 3D motion design. This hands-on approach helped me develop a deep understanding of how composition, color, and typography influence the effectiveness of an animation.

In addition to mastering technical skills, I developed essential soft skills. I learned how to build a story through animation, worked with project briefs, and managed projects from storyboarding to client presentations. This course allowed me to foster a creative mindset, expand my visual perception, and explore different paths in motion design. By the end of the course, I built my first motion design portfolio, showcasing the skills I’d developed and the creative projects I had brought to life.
